Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks (not term time only)

Salary - up to £35,000 per annum

Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational ballet boarding school associated with Birmingham Royal Ballet and is based one mile from the city centre in Edgbaston.

The school offers boarding facilities with around 120 students living on site and a further 80 Sixth Form students living in accommodation nearby.

We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to join our Development team as soon as possible.The Fundraising Manager will primarily be responsible for developing and leading on the School’s fundraising strategy to grow philanthropic income streams. The role works closely with the Director of Business Development, Principal, Senior Team and the Board of Trustees. This includes managing the trusts and foundations bid writing programme, managing key stakeholder relationships including membership groups, existing donors, and importantly, helping to cultivate new ones. The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all fundraising and stewardship events and initiatives, in line with Elmhurst’s fundraising strategy.

The successful candidate will have a ‘can do’ approach to their work, will be creative, good with people, efficient and have an excellent command of written and oral communication as well as good IT skills. 

The successful candidate will work towards fulfilling the school’s commitment to a high quality of service and will promote and embody the school’s ethos; the Elmhurst Way.
