Elmhurst Ballet School

Elmhurst Ballet School presents its graduate year Elmhurst Ballet Company in Legacy during the school’s Centenary year.

The young company collaborated with established dance artists and organisations to bring Legacy to the stage. Jordan James Bridge, a Company Wayne McGregor artist, creates The End is Where We Start, the fifth project between Elmhurst and Studio Wayne McGregor. Frederick Ashton’s Birthday Offering is a fitting addition to the school’s celebratory year. Bronislava by Avatâra Ayuso honours the 1923 Les Noces, the most famous work by Bronislava Nijinska. The company is also showcased in Argonauts, an excerpt from the jazz-based The Orpheus Suite by David Bintley, and Malambo by Elmhurst teacher Sonia Fajardo, performed for The Queen Consort on the occasion of Her Majesty’s recent visit to the school. A new jazz dance by choreographer Cris Penfold, and Resonate by Jack Farren, an Elmhurst Ballet Company artist, completes the programme.

Curtain up at 7:00 pm.

For guests requiring accessible seating and/or disabled parking, please book your seats using Eventbrite, then email your requirements to development@elmhurstdance.co.uk.
